Hey everybody! I hope you guys had a great New years. So to kick start this amazing 2012, we decided to share with you some of our favorite things.  this new debuting brand from sydney australia , 2011, Kobe Husk, makes these amazingly stylish shoes that are so pretty yet comfortable. check them out here.  This new blog is anothr favorite of ours, Its the female version of nerdboyfriend blog. nerdgirlfriend is a blog that features old pictures with great fashion inspirations that are under 100 dollars. Check it out guys.  we love this leather vintage-inspired mailman messenger bag. You can get this at an etsy store named landarcht.  This super cool calender by our paper shop.  Jade nail polishes.. to die for. Hey guys, So Its the New years!!! finally, its a new start for everybody. Here are some trends that we spotted in 2011- by vogue. 
(Content and image via vogue) for Chanel‘s new Metiers d’art collection was down in the cavernous chamber of the Galerie Courbe in the Grand Palais recently, whereby the run down place was magically transformed into the back drop of the fashion show. Inspired by India’s Maharajas and lavish palaces, Tables were set with tiers of fruits, sweets, and flowers. The stills of the backstage and sets itself is so stunning. Let the clothes speak for itself.                          Zimmermann's new collection Rebellion Is The Night, made us all fall in love with it. The combination of fusing subtle '20s nostalgia with a modern hint of exotica is so beautiful. Check it out. "Rebellion Is The Night brings with it French lace, opulent velvets and custom-woven brocades, for both visual and tactile effect. Add to that the beauty of oriental botanical print, the sex appeal of bias-cut silk, and Zimmermann’s unmatched ability to empower the female form, and you’ll perhaps start to see the allure." 
SHOWstudio debuts a film showcasing Gareth Pugh‘s first make-up range for M.A.C Cosmetics. Directed by Ruth Hogben, the film explores the contrast of light and dark that was the inspiration behind Pugh’s collection. (video and content via here) One of our favorite bloggers, Diana from Miss Moss, recently did these edits, where she re-imagined the Thakoon Pre-fall 2012 collections, with paintings. I think that she did a brilliant job in complimenting the collection with the paintings. The pastel colours look so amazing and they diffuse well to create a wonderful effect, So we just had to share it with you guys. Well done diana! xoxo.ps. Happy Holiday Guys!
